במאמר זה חוזרת עמליה זיו אל מאמרה "בין סחורות מיניות לסובייקטים מיניים: המחלוקת הפמיניסטית על פורנוגרפיה" (גיליון 25, 2004). היא מתבוננת בהקשר התרבותי, הפוליטי והאינטלקטואלי שעיצב את העיסוק המחקרי שלה בפורנוגרפיה, ובודקת מה השתנה בדיון הפמיניסטי על פורנוגרפיה מאז פרסום אותו מאמר. המאמר הנוכחי מציע מעין נספח עדכני, שמזהה את מאפייני הגל השני של הפמיניזם האנטי-פורנוגרפי שצמח בשני העשורים הראשונים של המאה העשרים ואחת, ומשווה אותם לאלה של תנועת האנטי-פורנוגרפיה של שנות השמונים והתשעים של המאה העשרים. מהניתוח עולה כי שיח האנטי-פורנוגרפיה העכשווי מרחיק את עצמו מפרדיגמת הקונפליקט המגדרי שאפיינה את הגל הראשון, ומעוגן בשיח של מיניות בריאה. מעברו השני של המתרס הפמיניסטי, המאמר מזהה את הופעת הקטגוריה "פורנו פמיניסטי" ואת צמיחת התחום של לימודי פורנו, שרבות מהחוקרות המרכזיות בו הן נשים. המסקנה היא שכמו בעבר, גם כיום שני הצדדים במחלוקת הפמיניסטית מציגים תמונות בלתי מתיישבות של השדה הפורנוגרפי, והצורך לייצר מסגרת מחשבה אינטגרטיבית שתשלב בין הכרה בפגיעות המינית של נשים להכרה בסוכנות המינית שלהן נותר בעינו.

Thoughts on Pornography, Writing, and Feminism: Revisiting “Sexual Commodities and Sexual Subjects” (vol. 25, 2004)

The article revisits my paper, “Between Sexual Commodities and Sexual Subjects: The Feminist Pornography Debate,” printed in volume 25 of Theory and Criticism. It reflects on the cultural, political, and intellectual context that shaped my research on pornography, and it examines what has changed in the feminist discussion of pornography in the intervening years. The text offers an appendix to the original article that brings it up to date. It identifies the attributes of the second wave of anti-porn feminism that crystalized in the first two decades of the twenty-first century, comparing them to those of the anti-porn movement of the 1980s and 1990s. I argue that contemporary anti-porn discourse distances itself from the gender-conflict paradigm that characterized the first wave and grounds itself in the discourse of “healthy sexuality.” On the other side of the feminist divide, I note the emergence of the category of “lesbian porn” and the founding of the academic field of porn studies. I find that today, as in the past, the two feminist camps portray irreconcilable pictures of the field of pornography, and that the challenge of creating a framework that can acknowledge women’s sexual vulnerability while recognizing their sexual agency remains as pressing as ever.

تعود عماليا زيف هنا إلى مقالتها "ما بين البضائع الجنسية والذوات الجنسية: الخلاف النسوي بشأن الدعارة" (العدد 25، لسنة 2005). تقوم الكاتبة بدراسة السياق الثقافي والسياسي والفكري الذي بلور الانشغال البحثي لها في الدعارة، وتقوم بفحص التغير في النقاش النسوي بشأن الدعارة منذ نشر تلك المقالة. تقترح المقالة الحالية ما يشبه الملحق المحدّث، الذي يقوم بتشخيص خصائص الموجة الثانية للنسوية المناهضة للدعارة، والتي ظهرت خلال العقدين الأخيرين للقرن الحادي والعشرين، وتقوم الكاتبة بمقارنتها مع خصائص حركة مناهضة الدعارة التي ظهرت خلال ثمانينيات وتسعينيات القرن العشرين. يظهر من خلال التحليل أن خطاب مناهضة الدعارة المعاصر يُبعد نفسه عن براديم الصراع النسوي الذي ميَّز الموجة الأولى ومنغرس في خطاب الجنس الصحّي. ومن الطرف الآخر للمتراس النسوي، تقوم المقالة بتشخيص ظهور فئة "الدعارة النسوية" وحقل دراسة الدعارة، حيث تجد غالبية الباحثين المركزيّين فيه من النساء. تصل الكاتبة إلى خلاصة مفادها أن الصورة لا تختلف عمّا كان فيما مضى، إذ كلا طرفي النزاع النسوي يقدمان صورًا غير متناسقة مع حقل الدعارة، والحاجة لإنتاج إطار فكري متكامل يجمع بين الاعتراف بالإساءة الجنسية التي تلحق النساء والاعتراف بوكالاتهن الجنسية لا زالت قائمة.
